Are you looking for something to do this weekend with your friends? Well, look no further!

Last night, I was invited to try out a new bar in Manchester with three of my best blogging buddies, Sophie, Lisa & Lorna. If you know me, I’m never one to turn down food.  I’d never been to Dive before but was excited to try it out. We all arrived just before 7pm and headed down the stairs where a friendly waitress showed us to a booth that had been reserved for us. The atmosphere was great in there. If you’re looking for somewhere with a laid back, trendy and fun atmosphere, this this is definitely the place to go.

When it came it to ordering there was so much choice on the menu. Allan, who was looking after us and taking our orders explained that the concept of Dive was to encourage people to share and “dive” in and enjoy their food. So we decided to let him surprise us and bring a selection of dishes out for us to pick at and try… we were certainly not disappointed.

An absolute ton of tasty sliders (mini burgers), tacos and tapas were brought to our table. We were in food heaven. Everything was so tasty too. I think my favourite had to be the chicken lollipops and beef skewers. Everything was delicious. The food was cooked to perfection. Even the beef melted in your mouth and wasn’t chewey or overcooked at all. Which was impressive considering the place was pretty busy and we ordered quite a lot.

After we’d cleared the table and finished our feast, we had to try the desserts and coffees. It would have been rude not to, wouldn’t it? I had a strawberry daiquiri sunday… omg it was so yummy. Layers of boozy strawberry ice-cream and whipped cream. Bliss. Sophie had the banoffee pie, Lisa had the Key lime pie and Lorna had a chocolate sundae.

I’ll definitely be going back again. It was a great night. The four of us had a brilliant time and enjoyed every minute of being there. The staff were so friendly and helpful and were even up for having a laugh and a joke with us. dive-6

If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, then get yourself down to Dive in Manchester. It’s just near Afflecks Palace in the Northern Quarter. They’re also offering an amazing 55% off everything on their menu for the rest of February… they’re prices are already pretty reasonable so this is an amazing deal and one not to be missed.

*This was a sponsored post for Dive NQ. While the food was complimentary in exchange for a review, all opinions are my own. I was blown away by how great this place is and I’ll definitely be going back. I’d like to thank Allan for looking after us and making us feel so welcome.
